For Scholars using a personal Chromebook device (not a GHO-issue Chromebook), the Chromebook device will need a specific setup to access necessary platforms.
Scholars will need to log into the device itself using their Great Hearts Online account (@GreatHeartsOnline.org). This account is a Google Workspace account and although it does not end in @gmail.com, will still function as a Google account.

Initial Set Up
New Chromebook Device
If you are setting up your personal Chromebook for the first time, you will want to first sign in using a personal account. Setting up the device using a personal account will ensure you have access to any communications or verification steps necessary. It is important to note that GHO Scholar accounts do not have email enabled. These accounts cannot send or receive emails.
