Introduction
Some scholars using Chromebooks find that some YouTube or Swivl videos do not play on their devices, or that videos play only intermittently. In most cases, even if the video displays a preview, the playback itself is blank. (See Live Learning/Swivl Video Playback for Scholars)
Sign in to a Great Hearts Online Account
In most cases, these symptoms are resolved by signing in to a greatheartsonline.org Google account, instead of to a personal gmail.com account. Your scholar can and should sign in to their personal device with their greatheartsonline.org Google account while they are participating in school activities. These are the same credentials they use to sign in to Canvas.
Your scholar can still sign in to their personal Gmail account when they are not working on school and want to access other websites, email, etc.
