On your keyboard, hold down Ctrl + 
2. Open up a new or existing document and paste it (Ctrl+V).
How to "snip" in Chromebook
1. Mouse over the battery icon or time, then select Screen capture
2. "Drag to select an area to capture" will show up in the middle of the screen, hold down your mouse and drag what you want to snip.
