Introduction
(Please use the "fullscreen" button within the video player to better see details.)
Zoom is the video conferencing platform Great Hearts Online uses to connect all scholars and @Home Facilitators with educators. All Great Hearts Online scholars are provided with a Zoom account that can be accessed using the scholar's Google Workspace login information.
Although Zoom is accessible to users that are not signed in and you may have additional personal Zoom accounts, it is important to ensure scholars are logged in to your Great Hearts Online scholar account to get to live learning, ESS or SPED sessions, ELL sessions, Reading Groups or any other time scholars may be meeting with a teacher from Great Hearts Online. Making sure all scholars are logged into their GHO issued accounts ensures that scholars have access to all upgraded features, our teams are able to provide support, and that meetings follow all safety and security policies.
Zoom Login
1. Launch the Zoom desktop client app.
Once the Zoom client application has launched, you will be prompted to sign in. If you have already signed into another account, select the sign-out option in the menu accessed by clicking your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Use the "Sign In with Google" option. Typing your Google Workspace credentials into the "email" and "password" fields on this window will not take you to the correct account. Please see the SSO (Single Sign On) and Google Workspace Accounts for Scholars articles for more details.
