Check ChromeOS Version
Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi and follow the steps below.
Step 1 Click on the time display to open the System Tray in the bottom right corner. |

Step 2 Click on the cog icon to open the Settings Menu. |

Step 3 Select Chrome OS to view which version is installed. |

Step 4 Locate the version number under About Chrome OS

Update ChromeOS
Before updating ChromeOS, confirm the device is connected to WiFi. (See previous steps.)
Step 1 If there is an option to Check for Updates, click on the button. The update will automatically begin although no progress bar is shown. Please leave the device powered on and connected to a power source until the update is complete. This process may take 1 hour or longer, especially if the device is on an older version. |

Step 2 Once the update is complete, restart the device from this page. |

Step 3 Once the device has restarted, navigate back to About ChromeOS (See Check ChromeOS Version above) to confirm if it's the latest version Please note that ChromeOS will update as many versions at a time as possible, however, it may be necessary to repeat steps 1 and 2 until the correct version is installed. |
