TypingClub is a web-based program to help scholars learn how to type. Great Hearts Online uses TypingClub for scholars in second grade and up to practice typing skills. TypingClub is self-paced, so scholars can learn at their own pace. Scholars can access TypingClub at https://ghonline.typingclub.com/

Get Started with TypingClub

Step 1

Use your GHO Google SSO to sign up for TypingClub at https://ghonline.typingclub.com/

Step 2

In the "My Lesson Plans" section, click "Start" to begin Typing Jungle.

Step 3

Take the Placement Test to skip levels!

Step 4

Click on the first available tile and follow along OR scroll to the last lesson you unlocked by taking the placement test!

You will unlock more lessons and games and you continue learning to type.

Please note: You can take the Placement Test multiple times! As you learn more typing skills, you can take the placement test again to see if you can test higher.

TypingClub at Great Hearts Online is self-paced, so scholars can learn typing skills at a pace that works for them. As they learn more typing skills, they will continue to unlock more lessons, activities, and games within the TypingClub program.
